The fall 2013 issue of Quaker Action introduces the idea of shared security, bringing readers around the world to see how communities are affected by U.S. foreign policies—and how that could change if the U.S. and other major powers invested in shared well-being instead of national competition.
Quaker Action is published three times a year for AFSC donors and can be downloaded free from this site. The stories and photographs cover many of AFSC's programs in the United States and in more than 20 communities around the world. Each issue also includes a message from General Secretary Shan Cretin, guidance for reader engagement in the issues covered, and an invitation to make contributions to support AFSC’s work.
