Daoud Nassar is a Palestinian Christian whom AFSC sponsored on a recent speaking tour of Iowa. Founder of Tent of Nation's, Daoud's theme was, "We refuse to be enemies."

AFSC Iowa's Peacebuilding Program educates and motivates Iowans in supporting the peaceful resolution of international conflicts. The program works for an end to the US wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and for an end to US military and economic support for the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands.

AFSC educates the public and lawmakers regarding military spending and the resulting drain on funding for human needs. AFSC to nurtures antiwar networks in Iowa through volunteer opportunities and internships. AFSC is drawing in the next generation of peace makers.
