Chicago Office

AFSC's Chicago office supports programs working for peace and social justice.

The Middle East Program works to create awareness and support for social change initiatives for a just settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The Peace Building Program works locally, statewide, and nationally to highlight the human and economic cost of war through exhibits, actions and events.

The Truth in Recruitment Program seeks to expose the harsh realities of military service and refute false information provided by military recruiters and advertising.

The Taxi Worker Organizing Project seeks a more cohesive voice for immigrant taxi drivers over their working conditions through mutual support, collective action and a formal association of drivers.
