On April 5, immigrants and their allies from across the country are taking action to stop the destruction of our communities and the erosion of everyone’s civil and human rights.

Colorado, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, and Rhode Island will have an AFSC-hosted Not One More Deportation event. If one is not available in your area, check for other national listings.

We’ll march down the 16th Street Mall with 10 foot tall special guests and then return to Civic Center Park* to honor and celebrate with the courageous families fighting their deportations!

The Network for Immigration Reform Now--a coalition of organizations including AFSC Iowa, Methodist Federation for Social Action, CCI, LULAC, the United Methodist Church and Las Americas/Trinity UMC--will be hosting a demonstration and press conference for "Stop Deportation Now" at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 4, outside the Polk County Courthouse in Des Moines.
