On April 5, immigrants and their allies from across the country are taking action to stop the destruction of our communities and the erosion of everyone’s civil and human rights.

Colorado, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, and Rhode Island will have an AFSC-hosted Not One More Deportation event. If one is not available in your area, check for other national listings.

"Not One More" Vigil June 28, 2013

A weeklong series of actions calling for an end to immigrant deportations wrapped up with a vigil at the federal courthouse in Concord New Hampshire on June 28, 2013.

AFSC and other New Hampshire organizations will join to send a message to the Obama Administration:  stop the deportations of immigrants.

Currently, more than 1000 people are being deported daily. It is predicted that in April, 2 million people will have been deported under the Obama Administration. Amid Congressional inaction, President Obama and his Administration must understand that our communities cannot continue to wait. The President can and should take concrete, bold and necessary actions TODAY to turn back the deportation dragnet.
