A Photo Voices project enabled young women who participated in a
Logan, West Virginia, mentoring program to explore their world
using disposable cameras. The moving portraits give life and
urgency to the challenges faced by the students and other residents of the coalfields. $4.

"Remembering from Back Then: Stories of our grandmothers" Young women in Logan, West Virginia, learned invaluable life lessons when they interviewed older African-American women and men for Remembering from Back Then. The young people say the inspirational stories help them better understand the challenges of African Americans who came of age during segregation. $4.
