Each year, AFSC welcomes more than 100 fellows, interns, apprentices, and young volunteers across the globe. Like AFSC, these advocates believe that there is worth in every person and that love can overcome violence and injustice.

AFSC’s programs develop leaders for social change. They build bridges of understanding and active alliances among young people—and communities—of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

We are looking for an excellent researcher and writer, knowledgeable and caring about economic and social justice, about the movement for justice in Palestine and the anti-incarceration movement. Preference to student activists with strong computer skills and a background in economic research and movement work in either or both of the above mentioned areas. The tasks will include: corporate research for activism; arranging and updating on-line databases; assisting and promoting on-campus activism. Read more »

QUNO Program Assistants

The Quaker United Nations Office in New York invites applications for its 2015-16 internship program. The internship offers an opportunity for college graduates, with an interest in international affairs and a commitment to Friends’ principles, to work at the UN. Currently, QUNO-NY focuses on issues of peacebuilding and prevention of violent conflict. Interns work closely with permanent staff on one or more issue areas and support office administration. Stipend and medical coverage provided.
