Catholic Peace Ministry is pleased to announce that Robert Naiman will be giving a talk entitled "We Can Do Something About the Drone Strike Policy" on May 1 at 7 pm. (AFSC Iowa, Vets for Peace, PSR, MFSA and the Des Moines Catholic Worker are co-sponsors.)

Robert Naiman is Policy Director at Just Foreign Policy. Mr. Naiman edits the Just Foreign Policy news summary and writes on U.S. foreign policy at Huffington Post. He is president of the board of Truthout.

Naiman has worked as a policy analyst and researcher at the Center for Economic and Policy Research and Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch.

In October 2012, he joined a CODEPINK delegation to Pakistan, where he witnessed the effects of U.S. drone strikes firsthand.

The talk will be held at American Institute of Business, 2500 Fleur Drive in Des Moines.

Please also join Mr. Naiman and others for a No Drones demonstration on May 1 at 11am at the Iowa Air National Guard base at the Des Moines Airport, 3100 McKinley Ave.
