Maggie Rawland of Des Moines joined 30 other Iowans at Morris

Elementary School on March 14, 2010 to urge federal officials to

shift billions in military spending to education.

Kathleen McQuillen, AFSC Iowa Program Coordinator, will be traveling around the state this Spring speaking on work for peace and justice in Palestine/Israel. The tour is organized by the Iowa Chapter of the Methodist Federation for Social Action.
