Immigration Coalition

Pittsburgh is a city built by immigrants. We live and work everyday with people who came to this country, and this region, to build a better life for their families and by doing so they make our communities stronger. Right now immigration law is threatening the very fabric that makes this country and this region so great, and rich with history. Join us May 1st for a panel discussion and to hear first account stories of what life in Pittsburgh as a recent immigrant is like.

Event followed by a march to the Federal Building to protest harsh and unjust detention laws.

This event in partnership with One Pittsburgh, Casa San Jose, Labor Council for Latin American Advancement, Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network, 32 BJ SEIU.
