Join us in an interactive, day-and-a-half social action and peace organizing training.
The American Friends Service Committee in Kansas City is holding Social Action and Peace Organizing training for high school-aged youth wanting to learn about how they can help create a more just and peaceful world.
Come learn and share your experiences and skills in non-violent social change. Sessions will include:
- Principles and techniques of non-violent social change
- Best practices: How to organize events/campaigns, recruiting, facilitating meetings
- Strategic planning
- Media training
- Finding and creating peace resources
