Peace-loving patriots celebrate Independence Day and support AFSC's Kansas City work.

Join us for a Patriots Picnic                                          

Celebrate Independence Day, the freedoms of our democracy and support the continuing peacemaking work of the American Friends Service Committee.

Join us and Celebrate with like minded Patriots!

Enjoy hot dogs, burgers (veggie & otherwise), salads and other picnic fare. There will be games for the kids (young & old), and live music by

Emily Tummons, with rich and beautiful vocals, will share folk, peace and inspiring songs. In addition to her musical talents she also helps run a nonprofit in Guatemala and teaches a Mayan language at KU; and 

Djembe Djanes women who express themselves through drumming.

And participate in our July 4th Apple Pie Bake- Off - Call us for more information.

We will provide a chance to learn more about the American Friends Service Committee and to contribute to our important work for peace and social justice.
