Occupy Des Moines First Anniversary March and Rally for Solidarity

The Occupy Wall Street Movement continues to fight economic injustice and corporate greed.  Occupy Des Moines celebrates its 1st anniversary by reaching out to the community to join us in confronting economic inequality.  We are  expanding our movement and this event is an opportunity  to learn about Occupy and how you can make a difference.

March begins @1pm .   Meet at Friends Meeting House, 4211 Grand

Soapbox at Governor’s Mansion and Sculpture Park in route to Nollen Plaza Panel Discussion @ 3:30 pm at Nollen Plaza featuring Community groups and Occupy Members.  Serving food & funnel cakes.

Break-out groups @ 5pm.   Get to know us and find out how you can get involved
