David Cobb is national spokesperson for Move to Amend, a principal with the Program on Corporations, Law and Democracy (POCLAD) and National Projects Director for Democracy Unlimited. He is a lawyer and political activist. David has sued corporate polluters, lobbied elected officials, and run for political office himself at the state and national levels.
Many of the issues we care about and work on — good education, affordable health care, plentiful and living wage jobs, a clean environment, safe communities, strong small businesses, fair taxes, reducing debt, honest elections — are impossible to fundamentally achieve so long as corporate entities are continually granted constitutional "rights" of people and money is constitutionally claimed to be equal to "free speech."
Move to Amend (movetoamend.org) is building a national grassroots multiracial and multiethnic social movement for an amendment to the US Constitution declaring that only human beings are persons and money in elections should be limited by We the People.
