American Friends Service Committee's Baltimore Youth Empowerment through Conflict Resolution Program and Maryland Peace with Justice Program + Pleasant Hope Baptist Church has joined forces to offer the Eddie Conway Freedom School. This school will be for youth 12-16 to learn and implement issues of freedom and justice in their communities. (Launching Wednesday January 25, meeting every Wednesday and Friday after school)
On Martin Luther King, Jr Day we are introducing the school to the community. Inviting youth and families to learn more, sign up as participants and volunteer. Program includes speakers, performers and food.
