be one of 2 Million Friends for Peace in Afghanistan

People across the US and Afghanistan will support the Afghan Peace Volunteers  petition asking the UN to broker a cease fire in Afghanistan. Join Wellington's gathering to sign and distribute petitions and to hear a report back from Buddy Bell, co-coordinator of Voices for Creative Nonviolence, who recently returned from Afghanistan where he was a guest of the APVs.  Kathy Kelly and other Voices activists will deliver petitions to the UN offices in NY City as part of a 7 day fast, Dec. 11 - 17 which includes a daily public witness, across from the UN, in Ralph Bunche park from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
