"Culture of Peace & Nonviolence" conference, rally

Annual conference, youth retreat, and march/rally on Building a Culture of Peace and Nonviolence.  Jo Comerford of the National Priorities Project will give the keynote talk Friday evening, at 7:30 pm.  An overnight for high school students will take place Friday night.  The conference, with workshops on topics such as Afghanistan, immigration, activist skills, nonviolence, Israel/Palestine, death penalty, and more will take place from 10 AM to 1 PM.  The event concludes with a peace march at 2 PM and a State House Plaza rally at 2:30 PM.  The event is organized by NH Peace Action, with support from AFSC, Pace e Bene, IVAW, UNH Peace and Justice League, UNH/PSU Culture of Peace Alliance, Seacoast Peace Response, and others.
