John Dear, an activist/organizer/lecturer/writer, will keynote a conference intended to spark nonviolenct action for social justice, peace, and protection of the natural environment.  Maggie Fogarty will lead a workshop on "Economic Nonviolence: How We Talk about Poverty Without Blaming the Victims."  Arnie Alpert will unveil AFSC's plans for NH Primary season with a workshop titled "Claim Your Seat at the Table."   Other workshop leaders will include Will Hopkins, Carmen Buford-Paige, Nur Shoop, Alex Freid, Olivia Zink, and Ginny Schneider.   A play, "My Name is Rachel Corrie" will be performed.  There will also be an overnight youth activist retreat the previous night, featuring Daniel Lee of Move To Amend.   Click here for workshop descriptions.

The conference is sponsored by NH Peace Action, Peace with Justice Advocates of the United Church of Christ NH Conference, Campaign Nonviolence, and the Plymouth State University Peace & Social Justice Council.
