The Middle East Program in Chicago works to build a diverse constituency that advocates for a just peace in the Middle East. The Program coordinates educational campaigns (see ongoing campaigns below), co-sponsors public events (subscribe for email updates at right), and develops educational resources and advocacy tools for individuals and groups.

Ziyarat az Zeitoun - Visiting the Olives

Ziyarat az Zeitoun

A Project designed to bring people together to learn more about Palestinian culture and current political realities on the ground in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Ziyarat az Zeitoun offers resources to individuals and groups to plan gatherings where people can sample and purchase Palestinian olive oil, view images and hear stories of olive harvesting, learn about the situation of Palestinian farmers and solidarity efforts of Israeli and international peace groups. US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation

The US Campaign is a diverse coalition working for freedom from occupation and equal rights for all by challenging US policy towards the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Campaign is based on human rights and international law, providing a non-sectarian framework to inform, educate and mobilize the public. AFSC Chicago is one of more than 200 member groups in this national coalition (http://www.endtheoccupation.org).
