Join us at a community forum exposing the deceptive framing of the debate on the deficit, U.S. tax and spending policies, and what is needed to improve the U.S. economy.

"The Fiscal Cliff on Trial" will analyze the debate on deficit reductions, tax policies, and federal spending proposals and their impact on Kansas Citians and our economy. 

Our Tax$ for Human Need - Not Wars and Greed

Demonstration & Street Theater will call for a reduction in the excessive military budget and the reprioritizing of our tax dollars toward human needs and job creation.

Activities will include:

  •   20’ to 30’ Banner of FY 2012 U.S. discretionary budget

Organize The Hope

You are the missing link!

The Organize the Hope College Fellowship program and orientation training was held in Chicago on September 11-13th.  We had an amazing group of fellows at the training, a very diverse group that hailed from New Hampshire, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.  The students have hit the ground running and are already producing events on campus, using AFSC materials and resources and being mentored by AFSC staff.
