Peter Lems, American Friends Service Committee Program Director for Iraq and Afghanistan will look at the impact of the troop withdrawal from Iraq, our responsibilities to acknowledge the damage, and lessons learned for the peace movement.  How can we then use those lessons learned to speed-up the removal of US troops and bases from Afghanistan.

Windows and Mirrors is the American Friends Service Committee’s traveling exhibit that provides an opportunity to see ourselves in depictions of the war in Afghanistan through the eyes of artists and children.

NH Peace Action will hold a Winter Solstice Peace Vigil, including remarks from Mary Lee Sargent on "Five Things I Hope to Remember Before I Lose My Mind," or lessons learned from decades of political engagement.
