If you happen to see Ira Harritt of AFSC coming your way in a U-Haul truck, get ready. With oversized signs and banners and tables and even a stage, there’ll likely be some big-time peacemaking filling the streets in no time.

Lend us your hands for peace and justice.

Join us for music, performance, art, and much more. Help create the 40-foot "Lend Us Your Hands for Peace Mural," participate in the Visions of Peace video project or the Peace Parade, enjoy the performances and learn what you can do.

Youth and school programs are encouraged to take part by using the "Lend Us Your Hands For Peace" art activity. See related documents for more info! Click here to see some of the pictures we have already received.

You are invited to help plan the

Visions of Peace at the Crossroads

(new name for peace festival)

We will hold the Festival during a First Friday Art Walk in the Crossroads Arts District on October 1, 2010.

We envision a Festival full of storytelling, poetry, music and theater performances on a main stage and in galleries and other venues in the Crossroads District.
