March of the Dead in downtown Providence

October 7th marks the 11th anniversary of the War in Afganistan.  We will gather along the Burnside Park fence on Washington St, facing Kennedy Plaza, at 1:00pm.  AFSC will provide the masks.  Marchers are asked to wear black or something dark.  We will march through Kennedy Plaza, then return to our starting place.  There we will read the names of U.S. soldiers and Afghan civilians who have died during the 11 years of war.  Please contact sene@afsc.org if you would like to be one of the readers.
