Kansas City youth bound for DC to show their answer in 3rd annual If I Had a Trillion film festival
PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 2, 2013) - A team of Kansas City, Mo., youth are preparing to go to Washington DC to debut their video in the third annual “If I Had a Trillion Dollars” Youth Film Festival sponsored by the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) and The National Priorities Project (NPP).

Dr. King’s question is still before us. We still have the ability to bridge this gulf, even though it has been growing larger and larger, especially in the past 30 years.
Join us on January 12th to recognize the work of some outstanding and diverse local youth filmmakers as they show us how they would put our trillion-dollar federal discretionary budget to use if they were in charge.

The event, organized by AFSC and co-sponsored by Jobs Now, UMKC Economics Club and National Lawyers Guild, Occupy KC, Move to Amend, and PeaceWorks KC, took place on Saturday, Dec. 1, at the University of Missouri, KCMO.
