Celebration of International Peace Day in Providence RI
A celebration of community, culture and our longing for peace. The first part of the afternoon includes performances by local cultural groups, a tables hosted by community groups, face painting, and the making of peace flags. The event concludes with a walking meditaion and interfaith prayers for peace.
Social change, faith, community and arts organizations are invited to support the October 1, 2010 Visions of Peace at the Crossroads festival. Help deepen the KC community's vision of a just, peaceful and sustainable community and world.
