National Day of Action: Protest FBI and Grand Jury Repression!

On September 24, the FBI raided seven Chicago and Minneapolis homes of anti-war and international solidarity activists, and 14 activists were subpoenaed to appear before the Grand Jury. All 14 refused to participate.

In December, nine more Palestine solidarity and anti-war activists were subpoenaed to appear before the Grand Jury on January 25, 2011.

In December, nine more peace activists were subpoenaed by the FBI to appear before the grand jury. They are activists and ordinary people critical of war and concerned about Palestinian rights. To date 23 people have received subpoenas. Patrick Fitzgerald's office is ordering the nine to appear at a grand jury in Chicago on January 25th.

Join us at the Federal Plaza on January 14th to serve a subpoena to Attorney General Patrick Fitzgerald for his violations of our civil liberties. Fitzgerald is heading the current political witch hunt against antiwar activists, international solidarity activists, and the Arab and Muslim community. So far, over 23 people have been targeted, including members of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS).
These raids and subpoenas are an attack on the movements that speak out against war, occupation, and injustice.
