On September 24, 2010, the FBI executed search warrants on the homes of, served grand jury subpoenas on, and “visited” anti-war and solidarity activists in several cities, including Chicago and Minneapolis, purportedly to investigate the alleged “material support” of Palestinian, Colombian, and other groups designated by the US as “terrorist” organizations.
As one member of a 24-person delegation including Jews, Christians, Quakers, Buddhists and a Palestinian American, Betsy Fuchs visited Israel and the West Bank with a Compassionate Listening delegation.
