This week marks the second anniversary of the death of Anastasio Hernandez Rojas. He was a long-time border resident who was beaten and killed by Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents at a U.S.-Mexico border crossing.
AFSC was the first organization to assist his relatives, consoling them and lifting up the humanity of that tragedy just a few hours after the incident occurred.
More than a dozen members of Congress are urging a federal investigation into the killing of Anastasio Hernandez Rojas, the 42-year old San Diego resident who died after a brutal beating.
