Nato summit protest

Nato summit protestor wearing beret holds up a demo sign in France

Demonstrations protesting NATO and its wars in 2009 during NATO's 60th anniversary summit in Strassbourg, France. The sign held by the demonstrator says, Too much armor, Too little brains. Extinction welcome.

While heads of state plan for continued fighting in Afghanistan, we will be working on campaigns to bring soldiers home and create a future free of wars and occupation.

Take Action

Share Your Response to the President's Speech from Afghanistan

In his address from Afghanistan, President Obama announced the signing of a pact with the government of Afghanistan to extend the U.S. presence for 10 years beyond the scheduled removal of foreign troops in 2014. Help us raise a challenge to this vision by sending a letter to the editor of your local paper. The people of Afghanistan and of the United States deserve better.

Ask President Obama to investigate deaths on the U.S.-Mexico border

On May 28, 2010, Anastasio Hernández Rojas died as a result of a beating and tasing by U.S. Border Patrol agents in San Diego. We are asking President Obama to open an investigation into all the deaths caused by the U.S. Border Patrol along the U.S.-Mexico border.
